This project has been implemented in three (3) phases. Phase I involved construction of 85 units project commenced in 2008 and was completed in July 2011. Phase II involved construction of 212 units commenced in March 2011 and was completed in December 2013. Both phases have been completed then sold at outright and under higher purchase arrangement. Phase III involves the construction of 820 commenced in July 2013 and was intended to be completed in January 2015 (18 months construction period) however, due to various reasons, project could not be completed in time. Phase III project is divided into sixteen (16) lots carried out by twenty one (21) different contractors. Sixteen (16) contractors are undertaking building works while five (5) contractors are undertaking infrastructure service works. Currently, 417 housing units are already completed and handled over to the Fund. House types and number of rooms for each house type is as per table 1 – 3 below.
